CRAAR will be hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross this summer! Please sign up to donate to this great cause! Culver’s will be providing a free pint of ice cream to anyone that donates. The drive is set to take place in 2 locations on 2 different days – you may sign up for either day:

To schedule a time to donate, visit www.redcrossblood.org. Click ‘make a blood donation appointment’ in the top right corner, enter your zip code, and the 2 blood drive options will automatically show up. Or contact Cassie Tegeler at [email protected], and she can schedule an appointment for you. Donors who do not schedule a time can simply drop in and donate. Scheduling a time is recommended so you don’t have to wait. Bring a photo ID, your blood donor card, or two other forms of ID.
Summer is an especially good time to donate blood. Summer vacations and activities can fill schedules, leaving little time for many people to donate blood. This causes the American Red Cross to experience a drop in blood donations. Any contribution you can give this summer is greatly needed and appreciated! Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day. You can help.
